All the way back in 2012, Jo ‘Smiley’ Hailey took a step into the latest technology world of Google Street View Inside. Her first ever 360 Tour was of the Rose & Crown in St Albans. She then qualified and became a certified a Google Trusted photographer, meaning she had access to more Google facilities enabling her to update clients Google+ and Google Local (Now Google My Business) listings.
In 2015, Jo then photographed the Westminster Abbey tour involving over 170 panoramic images all stitched together into one seamless tour that reaches more people every month. Adding 360 product photography became a key part of delivering smaller, but highly effective product photography tours for customers. Jo is currently in San Francisco getting up to date with the latest in Google Street View, while at the same time we have been publishing our new Matterport tours.
Matterport enables us to take 360 images and tours for all buildings in a quicker, faster and more efficient way. This is working especially well for estate agents and property developers who want to feature their best quality properties in a new and interactive way. Features of Matterport include not only a very cool virtual tour and funky doll house view but also static images, short videos and floor plans. It’s a one stop imagery stop for estate agents and those individuals selling their own homes.
The tour below demonstrates the work we completed for Windy Nook Cottage, in Harpenden, and is a fantastic example of how this new system can be used…
