Lypiatt Lodge 360 Google virtual tour puts the viewer within the space and creates a lasting impression.
Lypiatt Lodge offers residential, nursing and specialist dementia care. It is an attractive Regency building located in the quiet residential Montpellier area of Cheltenham. The care home opened in February 2016 after undergoing major refurbishment. It has 31 bedrooms, all with en-suites wet rooms, a number of large communal areas and secure gardens. All the lounges have direct access to the grounds where residents can listen to radio, read the newspaper or simply sit and relax.
Calum Barclay, Director, contacted Striking Places after a recommendation from an SEO & Marketing company. He explained that there is a huge range of residential care options available. Families find choosing the right home for their loved extremely daunting. He wanted to assist with the decision making process!
Even before contacting Striking Places, Calum and his Co-Director Ashly Jones, understood the benefits of having a virtual tours.
The objectives were clear; to create a lasting impression, to give the viewer a feel for the place; and to encourage a visit in person
In some ways it is no different to finding a good hotel! You go online and you do your initial research. The obvious difference is that you need to visit a care home before committing.
We shot a number of rooms in different areas of the home. The tour features four distinct newly refurbished bedroom types. Because the renovation is ongoing, there are plans to added to the tour at a later date. These include a third sitting room and extension, kitchen and resident baking facilities. And finally, a hair salon and therapy room then the re-landscaping of the gardens!
Lypiatt Lodge, are very happy with the end result. The Google virtual tour enables future residents, families and care professionals to see the home before they visit. It helps build interest and gives visitors a realistic impression. It encourages them to visit in person.
