Cositas St Albans

Most High Street retailers in this day and age need to use everything in their arsenal to stay competitive and make sure they’re getting recognised. Cositas was in the same position – already a very successful independent home interiors and gift shop based in St Albans, they contacted us to create a tour because they knew they needed to stay ahead of the competition!

Cositas wanted to convey its ethos in its tour – it’s their mission to find the very best of what’s available to help create a dream space. Its mantra is inspired living and they offer a fabulous range of on-trend furniture, whether it’s brand new or vintage, home accessories, gifts and jewellery.

It needed to demonstrate as much of its wide range of services in the tour and imagery as possible. In addition to its retail business, Cositas also runs a number of exciting creative workshops where customers can learn a new skill and take home the results of their handiwork. This allows the team to showcase what they specialise in: the art of furniture painting. The shop stocks a wide range of paint and accessories for this, as well as a small number of one-off customised pieces crafted by the team’s experience in house creatives. Other products made in workshops vary from neon style signs, abstract art, calligraphy, jewellery, leather clutch bags and even patchwork, so it was a real challenge to communicate such an array of information – but we think we managed it!

Creating a tour for a fantastic business like this is always fun and rewarding. Using the Matterport System we were able to effectively create a tour that would show off the Cositas lovely furniture as well as giving the company more visibility.
