Virtual 360 for Mantle Business Centres

Mantle Business Centres owns and operates serviced offices, offering small and medium office spaces on flexible licences. They manage four centres in Stansted, Chelmsford, Cambridge and Duxford. Thremhall Park in Stansted and The Officers’ Mess in Duxford are beautiful historic Grade II listed buildings that Mantle have restored and converted. The CB1 Business Centre in Cambridge and Elizabeth House Business Centre in Chelmsford are town centre refurbished buildings. All of the centres offer serviced offices, flexi offices, virtual offices and meeting rooms, and are equipped with the latest technology and 24 hour security.

Earlier this year the Mantle Group decided they wanted to explore new ways for potential clients to ‘view’ their business centres before a physical viewing. Maya Bullen, Group Manager set about researching various options. During the process she came across the Google Maps website and read “Invite customers in with indoor Street View of your business on Google Search and Google Maps.” Google 360 virtual tours were the perfect solution. She contacted Striking Places from the list of recommended photographers.

For an organisation like Mantle, virtual tours are particularly beneficial for clients wanting to hire meeting rooms or short term office space without the time to actually visit. Clients are able to make a booking based on what they see while exploring the virtual tour. This is also a huge time, and therefore financial saving, for both potential clients and the centre staff.

Each building is quite different, with distinctive areas to highlight. The multi-level function, enabling the viewer to move between floors, is very useful for Thremhall Park and the Elizabeth House. The Officers Mess tour emphasises the wide selection of rooms and spaces on offer. From two person offices to large boardrooms the tour enables the visitor to experience the various layouts and décor of the building.

Mantle are delighted with the tours. Each tour showcases the centre to its online audience. It is an accurate reflection of what to expect and will help to market the business as well as assist with enquiries for office space. Mantle plan to have the tours embedded on their website and Facebook page.

Maya from the Mantle Group saw another opportunity to use the virtual tour and the experience of working with Striking Places by enhancing a regular advertorial in a local publication. You can see the case study in The Bishop’s Stortford Flyer here
