Striking Places were commissioned by James Fox, Marketing Executive at Green Retreats to create an interactive digital walkthrough of their huge Buckinghamshire showroom. The initial showroom walkthrough project brief was very straightforward, because James knew exactly what they wanted from the Google Street View Trusted tour. The primary intention was to use the virtual showroom walkthrough to give prospective clients a sense of the garden rooms on offer and encourage them to visit the showroom in person.
Once we had created the Google showroom walkthrough and uploaded it to the Green Retreats Google Plus page, James and his team wasted no time and embedded the virtual tour on their website and Facebook page. We used our experience with social media, and in particular with Twitter, to encourage the team to promote the interactive showroom walkthrough by starting at different points in different rooms, making full use of their google virtual tour as a very cost effective marketing tool.
The Google Business View photography has also been featured in an article ‘Green Retreats Launches Virtual Showroom’ in the Oxfordshire Guardian (15 Sept 2015).
