We were referred to Sarah at the Herts Show by the lovely Joolz from The Virtual Marketeer. Joolz raved about Google Street View Photography when she visits the show insisted in putting us in touch.
Sarah understands how powerful the benefits of increased and consistent visibility on Google Street View, on Google Maps, are for the show year round. Using this product serves as a reminder to people throughout the year, not just when the show is coming up. As the show is held on the 70 acre Hertfordshire Showground site, there were an astounding number of shots to take to really convey the enormity of the show to visitors.
The shoot was a blast for us, we’re in our element taking imagery of animals and climbing on enormous agricultural machinery. It was also great fun engaging with all the traders in the Made in Herts tent and helping capture the event in our extra special style.
Farr Brew, who support WEB, by hosting the monthly breakfast meetings in their bar in Wheathampstead The Reading Rooms. Looking very busy here at their stall in the Made in Herts tent.
Capturing a 360 Virtual Tour of a whole county show is a great opportunity to really show what Google Street View can do on a larger scale. This gives the Hertfordshire Agricultural Society a fantastic tool to help sponsors and exhibitors of future years shows experience the magnificence of the event. In fact anyone can view the tour virtually via website, mobile or tablet. The virtual tour appears on Google Search, Google Maps and Google Earth too!
