We have the most fantastic fun with some of the world’s gorgeous and awe inspiring women while we work. From female musicians, like Hazel O’Connor, commanding Wickham Festival’s stage in a packed big-top with hundreds of thrilled fans, to a more intimate business profile or head shot shoot for a professional business woman. Our photographs have captured the happiest moments with a beautiful bride and her proud mother. We’ve been right in the thick of it for zany, dressing-up, times and out of the crowd catching candid, contemplative, thoughtful looks and sometimes secret glances. The fascinating faces of women from around the globe are captured in Striking moments to last forever, creating memories and photo galleries just for you. # Interesting Fact No 45: International Women’s Day is an event celebrating women’s achievements globally. International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8th every year. International Women’s Day’s origins can be traced back to New York City in 1908. Fifteen thousand women marched for voting rights, shorter working hours and increased pay. Later, proposed by Clara Zetkin in Copenhagen at the International Conference of Working Women and supported unanimously by all those present, International Women’s Day was born. First celebrated in Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland, IWD is currently celebrated in over 30 countries but not yet in the USA. Each year has an official UN theme and the 2016 theme is Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for Gender Equality.
